7 Trees on a Hill, The Golden Hour

This is a series of about 8 paintings of a small pond about a mile from my home.  All of these rather large plein air paintings are painted at different times of the day in different seasons. With broken color strokes, in an impressionist style, the entire painting is dancing with opposing colors of warm and cool.  The shadows now has enveloped most of the hill leaving a small strip of warm evening light at the top of the hill.
