This scene is the Yeocomico River, a tributary of the Potomac River near the Chesapeake Bay. When sailing back to my boat slip from the Potomac River, this red topped roof is visible miles away on the water and it becomes my “sail to” marker getting me home safe. In this scene, I tried to capture the moist sky on a late spring morning.
